Vitória's liabilities on June 30, 2026 amounted to 85 million and 298 thousand euros. In other words, it rose by around 16 million and 459 thousand euros compared to June 2025. These are numbers presented by the club this Friday. Net liabilities, considering the deduction of customer balances, inventories and financial resources, went from 48 million and 217 thousand euros to 57 million and 130 thousand euros. SAD's total assets amounted to 48 million and 470 thousand euros, resulting in negative equity of 36 million and 830 thousand euros. In the period under review, operating income fell from 22 million and 692 thousand euros to 15 million and 102 thousand euros, while operating expenses rose to 33 million and 100 thousand euros, an increase of 0.7%. "This evolution reflects two distinct effects: on the one hand, the reduction in costs associated with participating in European competitions, namely travel and logistics; on the other, the increase in costs arising from the restructuring of the squad, particularly with contractual terminations, as well as the costs of sporting prizes. The combination of these factors contributed to the relative stability of operational expenses, despite the significant changes in its composition", explains Vitória. Finally, Vitória notes that "the end of the 2025/2026 financial year also marks the end of a management cycle at Vitória SC – Futebol, SAD. The balance of the season fell short of the objectives, both in terms of sport and in economic and financial terms. Meanwhile, a new management cycle began, based on greater prudence in the use of resources and the rigor of investment decisions, with a special focus on an effective reduction in expenses, the rationalization of the structure of the Society's costs and a more careful management of the size and costs associated with the squad. The valorization of sporting assets will continue to be a fundamental pillar of the strategy, but accompanied by an increased demand regarding the efficiency of the resources used and the economic and sporting return on the investments made.” (Santiago Group) Post navigation SC Vila Real makes history and places Portugal in the future of football António Salvador suspended for 23 days and fined 4,970 euros
