Spaniard Farru is Tondela's latest addition. The 25-year-old defender signed a contract for two seasons, until June 2028.
José MarÃa Pérez GarcÃa, the player's full name, arrives in Tondela to complete the first experience of his career outside of Spain and has already revealed his expectations for this new challenge with the auriverde jersey.
"I'm honest, I didn't know much about my new club, nor the city. But the first sensations are very positive. As soon as I arrived I spoke to the other Spanish players in the squad (Lucas Cañizares, Xabi Huarte and Ruly GarcÃa) and they only gave me good information. I already realized that I'm in a club with serious and professional people".
Last season, Farru represented the Salamanca Unionistas, where he played 35 games.
