The MotoGP grid is about to undergo a complete overhaul, with established riders leaving the championship due to lack of places, others renewing their contracts and many changing teams. This will be the case of Italian Enea Bastianini, who will leave Tech3 KTM to join SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP, the team that officially confirmed this Monday the signing of the rider for the next two years. He will team up with one of the summer's sensations, Raúl Fernández, who recently renewed his contract with Trackhouse until 2028. His victory in the Moto2 World Championship in 2020 earned him a move to MotoGP with the defunct Avintia Esponsorama team, a Ducati satellite team, in 2021. He achieved two third places, one at his home race in San Marino and the other at Misano in the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix. In 2022, he joined the Gresini team, which was making its debut as a Ducati customer team that year. He had his best year yet, with victories in Qatar, followed by the United States, France and Aragon, resulting in a third place in the World Championship standings and a contract with the official Ducati team. His excellent form was interrupted in 2023 by an injury at the start of the season, but Bastianini recovered in 2024 and fought for the title: 9 podiums in Grand Prix, including 2 victories and 1 victory in sprint events, finishing the season in fourth position overall. The arrival of Marc Márquez left him without a place in the official Ducati team, so he opted for a change of scenery at KTM, which loaned him to Tech3. However, his time with the Orange team was not successful, and he soon looked for another opportunity. After the official Aprilia team door closed, the Trackhouse door opened for him.
