"Não tenho nada a reclamar""Não tenho nada a reclamar"

After becoming official on Wednesday night, Richard Ríos departed this Thursday for Saudi Arabia. The Colombian midfielder was loaned by Benfica to Al-Ittihad and will play in Saudi Arabia next season.

Upon departure at Humberto Delgado airport, he spoke to the CNN Portugal, where he revealed that he had no discomfort with the reds.

First, I want to thank you for all the love. I have nothing to complain about. They were perfect for me. They always supported me”, he said, speaking of a possible return: “TheI still have a contract with Benfica. I can say many things here, but who knows if, in the end, we will be back here. The first and only thing I have to say is to thank you for everything, for your affection“.

Asked about what failed with Marco Silva, he left a short outburst: “I don't know. I think we had little time to work”.

Hired for 27 million euros from Palmeiras, Richard Ríos ended up not having the impact expected by Benfica. He scored eight goals and six assists in 51 games with an eagle on his chest.

This season he played six of Benfica's nine official games, but only started against Hearts, in the third qualifying round of the Champions League.
