Oliver Solberg confirmed this Sunday (13) his victory in the Chilean Rally, with a 16.6s advantage over the reigning champion Sébastien Ogier. Solberg in the Toyota Yaris confirmed the sixth consecutive title of the Japanese manufacturer in the Constructors' World Championship in the category. It is tenth overall, which puts the brand on par with Lancia as the biggest winners of all time.

Third place in the main class went to Adrien Fourmaux, from Hyundai, with two other Toyota cars following: Sami Pajari and Elfyn Evans.

Solberg got the better of six of the weekend's 16 stages, the same number as Ogier. However, the Swede was more regular over the days and only lost the lead briefly to Evans after the second stage. The Brit took two in total, while Neuville and Pajari had one victory each.

The results of the stage tightened the championship scenario. Evans remains in the lead, with 230 points, and has a 17 advantage over Pajari. Solberg is third, with 209, and remains with mathematical chances for the final two rounds.

In the Constructors' World Championship, on the other hand, the situation is defined. Toyota secured the six consecutive points, with 614 points, while Hyundai is in second place, with 410. WRT2, the Japanese manufacturer's secondary team, has 227, and Ford closes the list with 152 goals.

The next stage is the Italy-Sardinia Rally, between October 1st and 4th, before closing in Saudi Arabia on November 14th.
