Infront Moto Racing, together with the END, is pleased to announce the provisional calendar for 2027 FIM Motocross World Championship. Twenty Grands Prix, spread across four continents, will decide the MXGP and MX2 world titles, with the season starting in Andalusia on February 28 and ending in Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations in Assen on October 10th. In the beautiful region of Andalusia, Almonte will begin activities with the MXGP of Andalusia , the Spanish circuit that joined the calendar in 2026 and now takes on the role of season opener for both MXGP and MX2, alongside WMX and EMX125 on the program. Two weeks later, the paddock crosses the Atlantic to the MXGP of Argentina , on March 14th, when the acclaimed Bariloche circuit will host the MXGP for the second year in a row. The paddock then returns to Europe for an intense period of spring. THE MXGP of Italy, on March 28 in Montevarchi, is followed directly by the MXGP of Sardinia in Riola Sardo, on April 4th. Then comes the MXGP of Spain , on April 18 (location yet to be announced), and the MXGP of Trentino, in Pietramurata, on April 25th. May begins far from Europe. THE MXGP of China returns to Shanghai on May 2, moving from its original September date to a spring slot, placing one of the fastest-growing markets in world motocross at the heart of the season. The Grand Prix also coincides with the Labor Day holiday, one of the biggest national holidays in the Chinese calendar and a period of celebration that unites the country. Racing in Shanghai this weekend is a great honor for the championship and promises an exceptional atmosphere at the circuit. The European core of the calendar then runs from the end of May to the end of June, with the MXGP of Portugal on May 23, in a location yet to be announced; the MXGP of France on May 30, returning to Saint Jean d'Angély, the Charente-Maritime circuit that has not hosted a Grand Prix since 2025; the MXGP of Latvia, at Kegums, on June 13; the MXGP of Germany , in Teutschenthal, on June 20th; and the MXGP of Great Britain , in Foxhills, on June 27th. At Foxhills, the presence of the EMX250 was an essential part of the discussions surrounding the British stage. The inclusion of the category was an important and vital decision for the future of British motocross, giving the country's most talented young riders the opportunity to compete at home, in front of their own home crowd. A break in July gives teams and drivers a real mid-season break, and it is during this period that the FIM Junior World Motocross Championship takes place in Pärnu, Estonia, on July 18th. Racing returns with two of the most demanding weekends of the year: the Czech Republic MXGP in Loket, on the 25th of July, and the MXGP of Flanders in Lommel, on August 1st. The final stretch begins with the Swedish MXGP in Uddevalla, on the 15th of August, and the MXGP of the Netherlands in Arnhem, on August 22nd, before the MXGP of Türkiye in Afyonkarahisar, on September 5th. Another Grand Prix is scheduled for September 12th, with the country and location to be announced, and the MXGP of Australia in Darwin it takes place on September 19th. The championship ends in Europe, with the MXGP of Switzerland on October 3rd, at a location to be confirmed, closing the season a week before the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations, in Netherlands, in Assen.
