Carlos Dotor and Málaga will cross paths again after the successful loan last season, which ended with the Andalusian club's return to LaLiga.
The midfielder, on loan from Celta, was a fundamental player for both Pellicer and Funes, especially for the latter, who has relied since his arrival on a midfield composed of Dotor himself along with Izan Merino and Dani Lorenzo.
The good relationship with Málaga of the former Real Madrid player, for whom the Vigo club paid 3.5 million euros for 50% of his rights, and the fact that he was not part of Giráldez's plans made it easier for the operation to return to La Rosaleda to become a reality.
