Valadares Gaia officially announced the arrival of Constança Maia on loan from Sporting for next season. At 18 years old, the young winger will have her first experience away from Alcochete, in a transfer designed to enhance her competitive growth.
After making his debut for Sporting's main team last season and signing a professional contract in June, Constança Maia will continue his development at the service of Valadares Gaia, where he should play minutes more regularly in the League.
The Vila Nova de Gaia club was one of the main interested parties in receiving the Portuguese youth international, a scenario that ended up being confirmed. The transfer was seen positively by all parties involved, similar to what happened recently with Carolina Santiago and Maísa Correia, who also found space to grow away from Alcochete.
The loan will allow the young striker to gain experience at the highest level, with the aim of returning to Sporting more prepared to fight for a place in the first team.
